LED Strength & Balance

 


Free 6-week funded Strength and Balance class

In partnership NHS England, LED Community Leisure has developed an exercise class for older people who have had a fall or who feel unsteady on their feet. The aim of the class is to improve your strength and balance, and also to help you feel more confident when you are out and about.

                        

 

Free and open to:

• A person who has recently had a fall

• A person feels unsteady, frightened or worried about falling or their balance

 

In addition, none of the following can apply:

• A person has an unstable condition or acute medical illness

• A person cannot walk independently

• The person would be unable, even with support, to follow instructions

 

What will you receive:

• Initial Consultation

• 6 weeks of FREE exercise classes, then £4.50 per session

• Follow Up Consultation

 

 

The classes will be taking place at:

 

Honiton Leisure Centre on Thursdays 3.00pm - 4.00pm.

 

Exmouth Leisure Centre on Mondays 11.00am - 12.00am

 

Seaton Fitness Centre  on Mondays 10.30am - 11.15am - Starting 11th September 2023
