That starts with our pristine 25-metre swimming pool as well as our contemporary gym and climbing wall. And it’s backed up by imaginative exercise classes led by welcoming fitness professionals. We’re ready when you are.

Great news! Customers are no longer required to book Gym and ‘Swim for All’ activities in advance. All customers are reminded to check-in at reception on arrival.

I first started using the leisure centre when I moved here a few years ago. It has become so much more than somewhere for me to exercise, it’s my social hub. The staff are so friendly and for a small town the facilities on offer are fantastic!

I was worried that I wasn’t bendy enough for this class but the instructor was amazing and gave me options for all of the exercises.  The other people were a down-to-earth, friendly bunch, who made me feel really welcome. Even just one class a week is enough to stretch and de-stress me – brilliant!

I have been a member of LED for several years, making use of the gym, swimming each morning and participating in the Studio Cycling facility and in the past playing badminton and squash

LED staff have always been helpful, pleasant and caring and I would recommend the facilities to anyone wishing to use the many varied activities available
