Such a fun class, the instructor is a bundle of energy who inspires us all to work harder. She has excellent people skills and everyone enjoys her classes!
One of my favourite classes! The instructor keeps you moving, motivated and laughing throughout the whole time – one of the best ways I’ve found to keep fit – a great way to let off some steam!
Circuits has such a great atmosphere, everyone really gets stuck in whatever their level of fitness. It’s a great all over workout and the instructor keeps you going right up until the cooldown at the end
I was a little apprehensive as I didn’t know what to expect. However I was put at ease and the teacher guided me through the exercises with lots of care and attention. She took the time to answer all my questions so I left feeling really confident and excited about my next session
I was always sceptical about yoga thinking that I wouldn’t be bendy enough but after my first class I realised there was so much more to it! I’m encouraged to explore postures and whilst the classes can be intense the work goes deep and stays with me long after I’ve gone home
I have such a laugh at Zumba – sometimes my body just won’t do what I want it to – but its all okay I just shake and shimmy my way through until I stop laughing and get back into the beats again!

Calories - What's the Right Amount for Me?In this blog, I'll discuss why calories are important, energy balance, how to accurately estimate and adjust caloric intake for you goals and tools you can use along the way Contrary to what some might have you believe, calories are not little monsters that live in your wardrobe and sew your clothes a little tighter every night. In fact, there’s nothing scary about them at all! ...
What's Stopping you Changing Your DietI strongly believe that food and nutrition is NOT just about science. Yes, an understanding of the underlying principles such as caloric intake and food composition is all very important but if you can’t apply this information in the real world then it is useless. Even with the perfect, textbook nutrition plan and most advanced training programme, obstacles, sticking points and difficulti...
Motion is Lotion!Anna from The Clinic in Exmouth starts a series of blogs with this great introduction into the importance of listening to your body ... It's All About The Carbs! We’ve all been there. Maybe it started as a conversation with your friends over dinner, or maybe you heard about the dangers of sugar on a Channel 4 documentary presented by a TV personality grossly underqualified to discuss nutrition Maybe you experienced it in your home as your beloved 18-year old pursued a leaner physique or maybe you gave it a go yourself. Either way, 99% of us will k...
Where to Start with Yoga ... ?Although I'm a certified Yoga teacher with nearly 15 years yoga experience and practice, I face the same challenges as everyone in getting on my mat! We all know that Yoga is a great way to de-stress and rest the body, as well as building strength and flexibility to help improve physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing. The best thing about Yoga is that a little practi...
