LED Community Leisure Needs Your Support! And thanks those who have already pledged
Further to my message earlier in the week, despite the decision to suspend our memberships, we have continued to receive financial support from a number of our members. So far, over 7% have pledged their support. In these uncertain and worrying times I have been truly humbled and inspired by so many members pledging to continue paying their monthly memberships to help LED Community Leisure through the biggest challenge we have ever faced.
We realise and fully respect that not everyone is able to respond to such a request for support, given their own particular personal circumstances, but for those that have and those who may still be able to, I would just like to reaffirm the recognition you will receive. As a thank you for your support in our moment of need, each member who continues to remain an LED member, paying their monthly direct debit, will receive a payment holiday next year equivalent to the closure period caused by the coronavirus epidemic.
Once again, thank you to those who have already acted and there is still the opportunity for other members to kindly agree to continuing your membership subscription and for us to reactivate your suspended membership, please confirm using this email link email@example.com. Whatever, you decide, we hope to be welcoming you back through the doors of our leisure centres as soon as we have overcome the unprecedented challenge of the coronavirus epidemic and the UK Government advises it is safe to do so.
All support received will be used to keep some staff employed during the closure period, meet ongoing bills, and for LED to be able to re-employ staff and reopen once we are given the ‘green light’ by the government.
