LED Supporting Charity Fundraising Events
Wherever we can, here at LED we look to support other charity fundraising events through sharing our resources or facilties - especially if it means that we can get our team stuck in and taking part as well!
Here are just a few examples of how we like to get involved..!
Macmillan Coffee Morning
We would like to thank you all for your help and support towards the MacMillan Cancer Support coffee morning we had at Axminster before Christmas. A personal thank you to Vanessa for arranging another successful morning!

We raised £125.00 by being part of the Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning!
In March 2016, LED joined in the world’s biggest fundraising swimming event - Swimathon! The LED team joined customers and jumped in with over 600 other pools, including the London Aquatics Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to help raise money for this amazing cause!
A combination of distances were completed - 1.5k, 2,5k or 5k or, with our SimplySwim challenge, your own distance could be completed in your own time. Water-loving friends even joined forces and created relay teams to tackle the 1.5k and 5k distances!
All 5 of our LED swimming pools took part in this awesome challenge that raised money to help transform lives across the UK and the world’s poorest communities
Sport Relief 2016
Whilst our five swimming pools took part in Swimathon 2016 we didn't want our gym and exercise class go-ers to miss out on the action - so we've came up with something a little bit different - we took on a World Challenge!
All of our LED centres attempted to travel around the world via bike, treadmill, cross trainer and swimming pools! From 7am to 7pm on Friday 18 March the LED team and customers all rolled up sleeves and sweatbands to help achieve a total distance to see how far we could travel around the world!
We made it to a staggering 5,640 miles - almost as far as the Himalayas and raised thousands of pounds for this great cause!
