Planning Your Visit
Here are some of our most frequently asked questions and information you might find useful when planning your visit
Covid-19 information from 19th July 2021.
With the Govt decision to lift most of the Covid-19 restrictions from the 19th July, it means that most of the things we did at the Pavilion pre-Covid can now start again.
However, we will be keeping some measures in place to keep both customers and team members safe
- We will leave the QR code available for you to particiapte in track and trace should you wish
- Sanitiser stations will remain up
- We will ask that where possible you continue to social distance when queuing
- Between shows in the hall we will continue to 'fog' the space in order to kill off any bacteria
- Whilst no longer mandatory you are more than welcome to continue to wear a face covering if you wish to.
The cafe will be open and customers will now be able to order from both the cafe counter and the bar.
Tickets for shows will be sold without social distancing requirements and social dancing is now permitted, so the Tuesday Tea Dance will also recommence.
All of the toilets will be open but these will be for customer use only. The nearest public toilets are at the side of Ocean on Queens Drive.
Can I buy vouchers as a gift?
Yes, Pavilion Gift Vouchers make an ideal gift. Simply choose how much you'd like to buy, and you'll get a gift voucher ticket. This can be exchanged for any of our events, and doesn't need to be spent all at once. Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months. Please call us on 01395 222477 to purchase in any denomination you choose
Is there parking available?
There is a small pay & display car park, located opposite the building. Parking is free after 6pm. There are 2 dedicated spaces for blue badge holders.
If it's full, there is Pay & Display parking available all along the seafront
How do I book?
Bookings can be made either online, by telephone or simply pop in and speak to a member of the team
Customers booking online are able to choose their seats for shows. However there are circumstances where we ask that you call the box office direct, particularly if you are a wheelchair user or require special assistance.
There is a £2 per transaction booking fee for all bookings
WHEELCHAIR users are asked to telephone the box office, or call in person to book tickets as due to health and safety restrictions we only have limited seating areas that are suitable for wheelchair users. Please be aware that if you do book tickets online and the seat you have chosen is not suitable for your wheelchair, we may have to reallocate you to an alternative seat. Assistance Dogs are welcome
As a general rule we do not allow single seats to be left unoccupied when you are booking online. It is hard for us to fill lots of single seats, as most bookings are made for two or more people; and so our website will not let you leave an empty seat between booked seats or at the end of a row. If you receive this warning, please look elsewhere in the auditorium for your seats, or call the box office for further assistance.
Book in person
The Box Office at Exmouth Pavilion opens daily (Mon-Sun) at 9am until 5pm. On performance days the Box Office will remain open until 30 minutes after the advertised start of performance. As of 1st January 2017, there will be a £2 booking fee for transactions over the counter.
Book by telephone
Call the Box Office on 01395 222477 during opening hours, Visa / Mastercard /Maestro / Delta accepted. Tickets will be sent out by 2nd class post for a postage and processing fee of £1.50. Tickets purchased for events less than seven days away will be retained at the Box Office for collection. There is a £2 per transaction booking fee for telephone bookings
Are concessions and discounts available?
Discounts and special offers may be limited or subject to availability and are at the discretion of each show. Unless otherwise stated, concessions and discounts cannot be combined or used in conjunction with other offers. When available, concession rate tickets are usually available to children, full-time students, senior citizens and those who are registered disabled. Again, it's important to note these will vary dependant on show.
Unless permitted by the show we are not able to offer free tickets to carers
Group discounts are available at many performances; details available at the Box Office. Our usual policy is that when you buy 9 tickets together you will receive a 10th ticket free
PLEASE NOTE GROUP BOOKINGS SHOULD NOT BE BOOKED ONLINE
Can I make reservations?
Reservations can be made for bookings of 10 people or more. We will require a non-refundable 10% deposit and tickets will be held for 7 days. After this time, tickets will be released for general sale and the deposit will be lost.
Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable except in the case of a cancelled performance. Where a show reschedules, your tickets will be automatically transferred across to the new date. If you can't make the new date then a credit to the value of the tickets will be made to your account for you to use another time.
Please remember that as all shows have now been rescheduled and everyone made aware of the changes some time ago, we now revert back to our standard policy, where tickets are now non-refundable unless we have proof of you being advised to isolate due to test and trace.
Can I exchange my ticket?
At our discretion, ticket exchanges may be available for performances of the same production, subject to a fee of £1.50 per ticket. This offer excludes group bookings of 10 or more tickets. Resales will only be offered where a performance has sold-out, subject to a fee of £1.50 per ticket
The Management reserves the right:
• to make alterations to the advertised cast and programme without prior notice,
• to refuse admission
• to provide alternative seats to those purchased and to reschedule a show date if necessary.
There is a choice of spaces available in dedicated areas for wheelchair users, in the auditorium. Please call the box office to book your tickets. If you require a wheelchair seat please DO NOT book online
There is level access to Foyer, Toilets, Auditorium and Cafe/Bar
The auditorium also has a hearing loop system
Use of photographic or recording devices is often forbidden without the permission of the artiste. For the comfort of all our guests please ensure that any mobile phones are switched off
Occassionally a performance may involve the use of strobe lighting, haze machines and pyrotechnics - if you are in any doubt, or have any questions, please ask at the Box Office.
Exmouth Pavilion would like to remind customers that you are responsible for your own travel arrangements. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance, which may be the interval so please do try to arrive on time
