Centre Safety

All activities must be booked in advance. You can do this by using the LED App. Download it here. Or you can book using the timetables on our Activities pages or by calling a centre.

Staying Safe

We've included an extensive range of additional precautionary measures to ensure your health and safety at this time. We want to reassure our members and customers, that looking after you, along with our staff, is our number one priority.

Customers and Staff will be required to wear face masks when entering the facilities and in all public communcal areas i.e. reception.lobby, corridoors and open plan changing rooms (but not cublicles).

Masks may be removed when entering activity areas and to be reinstated on leaving the activity area.

Additional health and safety measures include:

  • A reduced duration of classes & earlier closing times to allow for additional cleaning
  • Cashless reception areas for “Pay on the Day” users with payments preferred via debit/credit card
  • One-way routes both in and out of our centres
  • Social distancing guidance at all centres – we will be maintaining a 2 metre gap. 
  • Hand sanitisers located throughout centres for use
  • Bringing your own water – water fountains will not be available for use apart from dispensers where you are able to fill your own bottles
  • Please do not bring any bags or personal belongings with you
  • Changing rooms will not be in use for the time being
  • Some toilet facilities will be available with enhanced cleaning procedures


Exercise Classes

Here's what you need to know:

All exercise classes must be booked in advance. You can book by either downloading the LED App or by using the timetables shown on our Activities pages.

  • Please bring your own exercise mat. Mats can be purchased at a discount via our partnership with the Physical Company using code LED15
  • Please arrive in your workout clothes, ready to train as the changing rooms will be closed
  • There won't be anywhere to leave bags so please don't bring them with you
  • Your instructor will meet you at the door to sign you in from a social distance
  • If you are in a studio then a 2m social distance will be marked out using tape. There will also be directional signs showing a pathway for you to move through
  • Any other equipment will be laid out for you beforehand
  • You'll be asked to clean your kit both before and after each session using the cleaning equipment provided. The floors and equipment will then be deep cleaned by our team and signed off after each class

Book Your Class


Gym

Ready to train? Here's what you need to know:

All gym sessions must be booked in advance. You can book by either downloading the LED App or by using the timetables shown on our Activity pages.

  • Please arrive in your workout clothes, ready to train as the changing rooms will be closed
  • There won't be anywhere to leave bags so please don't bring them
  • You can still bring your own water bottles– water fountains will not be available for use but dispensers will be where you can fill your own bottles
  • Each session will last for 60 minutes. We will be reviewing this often and will let you know when this changes
  • Due to social distancing the gym will look a little different as we have had to remove a number of pieces of equipment. This will include relocation of some gym equipment into other areas such as squash courts and sports hall
  • When you arrive a coach will be ready to meet you and check you into the centre. Coaches will also be in the gyms to ensure social distancing is maintained and help you with anything you might need
  • You will need to keep social distancing and follow any signs to move around the gym correctly
  • You can spend a maximum of 10 minutes on each piece of equipment
  • Once you are finished with a piece of kit please clean it down using the disposable paper towels. Please do not bring your own towels with you
  • A deep clean will then be carried out after each session by the team

Swimming

Ready to swim? Here's what you need to know:

All swimming sessions will need to be pre-booked in available sessions. You can book by either downloading the LED App or by using by booking a swim here.

  • Each swimming session will be 45 minutes in duration to allow for increased cleaning protocols.
  • Cashless reception areas are available for “Pay on the Day” pool users, with debit/credit card payments
  • Hand sanitizers located throughout pool areas for use
  • There is currently a minimum age requirement of 14 years for lane swimming. Swimmers should be competent (e.g. able to swim 4 lengths or 100metres) 
  • There are new arrangements in relation to changing areas. You will need to arrive pool ready.
  • Toilet facilities will be available with enhanced cleaning procedures
  • Changing areas will be available after your swim, but there will be no showers. Please shower at home before your swim.
  • If you require the use of an accessible changing room and/or the pool hoist, please let us know at the time of booking if possible.
  • Lane swimming will be capped at 10 swimmers per lane, with lanes double their usual width. Please respect the lifeguard if you are asked to change lane.
  • When booking a family swim session, please book each member of the family including any under 3s so that we have a record on our systems for track and trace
  • On arrival you will be given a basket for your belongings to place in a marked area on poolside. Please leave your basket in your changing room after your session to help us clean as efficiently as possible.
  • No equipment will be available during our lane swimming or family sessions. Please bring your own if you wish to use things like floats, pull buoys, noodles and sinkers. Unfortunately we cannot allow inflatables into the pool at this time.
  • Aqua noodles will be provided for all aqua fit classes

Sports

Ready to play? Here's what you need to know:

All sport sessions including Indoor Tennis, Table Tennis, Squash & Badmintonmust be booked in advance. Outdoor Tennis courts are available to be booked at Phear Park, Seafield Gardens, Seaton and Coburg Fields, Sidmouth. You can book by either downloading the LED App or by using the timetables shown on our Activities pages.

  • A member of the team will meet you at the door to sign you in from a social distance

Badminton


Both singles play and doubles play can take place in groups of people from different households, as long as you remain 2 metres apart as far as possible – meaning that four people from different households can play doubles. Read the latest information from Badminton England.

Squash


Members from the same household or support bubble can play full squash game, individuals can solo practice, two members from different households can play a modified version of squash – ‘Sides’. Read the latest information from England Squash.

Table tennis
