Following the latest government update outlining the eased restrictions our team have taken time to fully understand how LED Community Leisure’s facilities can implement changes. We would like to thank our customers and team for their continued support and patience during this period.

As guidelines around face masks and social distancing relax we urge all customers and staff to remain diligent to ensure the safety of all.
Face Masks & Coverings
Following the latest government announcement, it is no longer a legal requirement to wear a facemask from Monday 19th July. However, we would encourage customers to continue to wear face coverings in indoor public areas, as in Step 3, whilst we all continue to work through this pandemic.
Our staff will ask customers if they would prefer them to wear a face mask during 1-to-1 appointments, such as personal training sessions or show arounds.
LED Community Leisure will adhere to government guidance and will look to increase capacity in our gyms, swimming pools, studios and courts from Monday 19th July on a gradual basis. We look forward to gradually and safely welcoming more customers back into our leisure centres. We plan to increase capacity to 70% of maximum from the 19th July, 90% in August and then 100% in September (subject to government guidance).
Our team will gradually return any equipment that has been removed from our gym and studio spaces over the coming weeks.
You may notice social distancing posters and floor markers will be removed from Monday 19th July.
We recently surveyed LED members asking for feedback on whether they prefer bookable gym/swim sessions or walk-ins, and the preferred length of gym/swim sessions. We would like to thank every member who took the time to complete this survey.
Our team have carefully considered this feedback, along with qualitative feedback collected from member emails, comment cards and online reviews and have developed a hybrid booking system which will be implemented from Monday 19th July.

Government guidelines have relaxed but our cleaning standards have not!
We will continue to provide anti-viral sprays and disposable towels to all customers using our facilities and will regularly clean all equipment and touch points throughout the day in addition to our thorough daily and weekly cleaning procedures.
We promise that making our gym sessions more accessible will not come at the expense of customer safety. Our teams will still regularly deep clean all equipment and touch points throughout the day and will now perform cleaning tasks around customers. We ask all customers to show patience and understanding whilst we adapt to this change.
We continue to advise customers to bring your own exercise mat but can now provide an exercise mat should you forget. If using our exercise mats, we ask you clean it before and after use.
Changing rooms are now available at all LED leisure centres and swimming pools, excluding Honiton Swimming Pool. For Honiton Swimming Pool we ask customers to arrive ‘beach ready’ as changing is currently only available on poolside.
We kindly ask that after swimming you minimise time spent in changing rooms and showers to allow us time to fully sanitise between sessions.
Our preferred method of bookings and payment is ‘cashless’ either through the LED Leisure App or by card; please avoid using cash whenever possible. Customers should book any gym, group exercise, court or swimming session via the LED Leisure app.
Wherever possible we will continue to provide natural ventilation and circulate fresh air throughout our centres.
No further COVID-19 related membership suspensions will continue from 1st August. All suspensions must meet the LED suspension policy to qualify – i.e medical or substantial change in circumstances.
