Running for David

Raising awareness of mental health

We are in total awe of our LED Honiton centre manager! He is running a 20 Mile off road Grizzly & 2 Marathons for Mind - The Mental Health Charity because he lost a good friend to Mental illness

This is what he had to say ...

On 10th November last year I was due to pick David up from the train station, to spend a weekend in Devon with me, as a bit of respite for him following the death of his parents and a battle with depression.  At 5:30am on my way to work I received a call from South wales Police.  David had sadly taken his own life. In his memory this year I have been raising awareness of mental health through facebook, and by doing the slightly snowed off Grizzly, the Hereford Marathon (where we met), and on the anniversary of his death I will be doing a 27 mile off road endurance run in his home territory in Wales. So far I have raised £1400 and hope to reach £2000 by the end of the year.  If you are able to spare a moment to sponsor me it will all go a long way.

Support Andy through his journey to raise money for an amazing cause and sponsor him today -

If you know someone or you yourself are struggling with any Metal illness, talk to someone or be someone to talk to.
