Beat our price increase

Pay As You Go and Unlimited Membership Price Increase

Pricing Statement – National Living Wage

The Government's National Living Wage was introduced on 1st April 2016 for all working people aged 25 and over, and is currently set at £7.20 per hour. In April 2017, it will go up to £7.50. The current National Minimum Wage for those under the age of 25 still applies

LED Leisure is fully supportive of this initiative, and the welfare of all our staff (whatever their age) is one of our core values. Accordingly, we do need to make some increases to our pricing structure to ensure we are both fully compliant with the National Living Wage and able to continue to maintain and develop our leisure centres and activity programmes

We are also seeing increases in prices from our suppliers, who are facing similar increases in wages, the fall in the value of Sterling, rising fuel and utility costs, etc.

We will therefore be increasing our ‘Pay as You Go’ and Membership Prices from 1st May, although we will be continuing to support the Government’s strategic objective to get more children active by not increasing the price of our Under 16 membership

We trust that customers will understand the reasons for these increases, particularly as many of our prices have been held static or seen minimal increases for some time now
