With LED's Circuit Training classes here at Sidmouth Leisure Centre, our mix of multiple stations combine resistance training with muscular endurance and strength building exercises to give you a great all over total body workout
Circuit Training classes are one of the best ways to improve your overall level of fitness. Comprising a variety of strength exercises, completed one at a time. Traditionally, the time between exercises in circuit training is short, often with rapid movement to the next exercise. This type of exercise class will ensure you push yourself to achieve your desired results
Total toning and conditioning based on athletic principles, exercises are arranged in a sequence and performed in a cycle, moving from one workout station to another. Strength exercises are alternated with cardiovascular movements and short periods of recovery. While the workout is primarily made up of body weight exercises, some pieces of equipment may be incorporated from time to time
An almighty workout in a go-go class – either come on your own and make some new friends – or grab a friend and bring them along to show them just how much you care!
For those of you that like to mix things up we run Functional Circuits classes every Monday at 7.10pm, or for a more traditional approach why not book into our Circuits classes every Tuesday at 7.00pm, Thursdays at 8.10pm and every Saturday at 10.00am!
