East Devon Tennis Academy at Exmouth Tennis & Fitness Centre

An invitational programme for players who love to compete in tennis

LED's East Devon Tennis Academy Programme at Exmouth Tennis & Fitness Centre has been designed to ensure players have their own plan providing each individual with the best possible chance of reaching their potential or dream whether that may be club, county, national or even international standard
We understand that all players do not require the same things from their tennis programmes and this will depend on their ‘dream’, age, different level of ability, fitness, motivation, commitment and stage of learning. We have carefully structured programmes to provide players with the right programme at the right time ensuring the right skills are learned and developed at the primary learning times
The East Devon Tennis Academy is suitable for players who show a good positive attitude towards learning that would like to train more than two times per week and who love competition and are either competing in competitions or are at the early stages of experiencing the challenges and excitement of the game of tennis
Players are invited to join the academy and there are limited spaces available. Players will normally be invited to attend a full academic year, however it is possible for players to join the academy at different times during the year, ensuring they join the programme at the right time for them
Players will be invited to attend the programme by one of the East Devon Tennis Academy coaches through the Exmouth Tennis & Fitness Centre Tennis Development programme
Invitation to join the academy is based on a player’s current and potential playing standard, athleticism, enthusiasm, willingness to learn, listening skills, teachability, work ethic, self motivation and player and parent commitment
The academy has 3 different programmes offering different levels of tennis programmes. The Academy, The Team and The Club Programmes
For more information please feel free to pop into the centre and speak to a member of the team or call us on 01395 223355
