LED's Aquacise class at Exmouth Leisure Centre combines some of the traditional elements of aqua fitness classes with the all the benefits of your classic dry Aerobics classes

The reduced impact on your joints during an Aquacise class means you can really let loose. Water creates natural resistance, which means every step is more challenging and helps tone your muscles

The low-impact nature of Aquacise makes it a brilliant class for both beginners and fitness enthusiasts alike! As the moves are performed at a slower pace than on land there is plenty of opportunity to develop your co-ordination and  agility as footwork is kept to a minimum. But don’t worry – you still get a great workout due to the resistance the water creates against your body while you are shaking your moves in the water

Working out in water can also prevent overheating, helping you exercise for longer and as water is 800 times denser than air so you will get a better work out with a smaller risk of injury than if you were exercising on land
