Membership - Frequently Asked Questions

There are two main types of Membership: 'Standard' and 'Inclusive'.

Inclusive Memberships offer the best value for regular users (once a week or more)

'Standard' Membership is an annual payment of between £12 and £24 (depending on your age) which then gives you a discount on all activities, across all centres.

'Inclusive' Memberships can be paid monthly by Direct Debit or annually. The Inclusive Memberships offer unlimited free activities depending on which Inclusive membership you choose.

Each of the inclusive memberships has a 'Loyalty' option - which means you get a heavily discounted price if you commit to staying at least 6 months.

Active317	Active317 is for ages 3 to 17. You get unlimited free swimming and junior sports classes* and a court-card which gives you one free court a month. Plus loads of other benefits. Find out more...
Tennis Active317	Tennis Active317 is for ages 3 to 17 and includes all the benefits of Active317, plus free off-peak Indoor Tennis, plus many more tennis benefits Find out more...
Swim Active317	Swim Active317 is for ages 3 to 17 and includes all the benefits of Active317, plus you get Swimming Lessons included free of charge.

Yes, you can buy the Standard membership for a family (£60 per year). Your family gets the Members price on all activities and extended booking privileges.
Family membership is not available when paying by Direct Debit.

Yes, all memberships are valid at any of the LED facilities

Yes - Standard and Inclusive Members can get the concessionary ticket price where available. You will need to present your LED members card at the time of booking.

Yes - all our facilities are open to members and non-members. For your own safety, you must have a Gym induction before being able to use the gym equipment.
There is a one-off charge for the gym induction of £25.00 (this is included free with Gold Memberships!)

- If you are a regular user of another gym, you may be able to use the gym facilities without a formal induction, subject to the approval of a member of our gym staff.

Guest Pass

Yes, you can take out our Gold Guest Pass. You will need to pay for the one week up front and arrange a short Gym induction if you wish to use one of our Fit4 Gyms.

Alternatively we offer Inclusive uncommitted Gold, Swim and Tennis Gold memberships payable by direct debit that require just one months notice to cancel.

Yes - if you are in receipt of any of the benefits listed below, you are entitled to join the Passport To Leisure Membership (PTL).
The PTL membership gives you discounted prices on most activities.

Yes, you can pay for your membership up front for the year and we will waive the joining fee!
